Dell has launched a new Desktop Computer in the Studio XPS family. Studio XPS 435 is available for purchase online. It has six DIMM slots, maximum potential DDR3 SDRAM  up to 24 GB 1066 MHz with three drive bays, eight USB 2.0 ports, 15-in-1 card reader, and 4.5 TB of storage. The computer comes with Core i7 Powered by Intel. The base configuration costs $1,099. Here is the list of the prices.

Lenovo

It is clear that Lenovo does not intend to waive their name and business needs of information security and confidentiality which become more important in this sector. Lenovo plans to make a free update for some mobile operating platforms and Montevina tablets, which will enable users to stop netbooks, and encryption of data loaded by remote SMS message can be sent from any mobile phone chosen with the computer.

Based on the idea that the viability of these computers equipped with wireless communication network broadband WWAN and then can sync with the desired phone using this method of insurance and is used to control text message confidentiality, which will close the computer encryption and content when it is sent to the computer through the telephone.

Samsung 256GB SSD

Samsung has started producing 256GB (SSDs) for notebooks and Desktop PCs. With a high speed drive up to sequential read rates of 220MB/s, sequential write rates of 200MB/s and the delete rates of 100GB/s. it offers now SSDs in 8Gb, 16GB and 23Gb for small designs and 64GB, 128GB and 256GB for the higher densities.

Sequential data transfers occur when PCs are booted or large files are copied, for example, Wong said. However, because most PC tasks are random rather than sequential it makes more sense to use random performance as a measure, Wong said, adding that random performance tends to suffer if the SSD is set up to measure sequential performance.

Samsung couldn’t immediately provide the measurements of the SSD’s random read and write cycle

Jim Elliott, vice president, Samsung Semiconductor, is using 256GB SSD in a notebook which is simillar to have a 15,000rpm drive.

The company said. It can store 25 high-definition movies in just 21 minutes! Amazing isn’t it?

Acer Aspire One

In 2009, Acer is willing to launch a new version of NetBook in February or March. The company has started selling it’s current Aspire One laptops in the Taiwanese markets. The new version supports 3G internet connection.
Scott lin, The Acer Taiwan president affirmed that the company in the next period wants to start producing laptops with thin LED-Based screens [12.1, 13.3, 14.1 15.6 Inches]that offer high speed of response.
